COLLECTIVELY DRIVEN; ESTHETICALLY MOTIVATED
Kinesthetics is a practice of embodiment— the ways our bodies know.
What began as a space to document Jefferson Alade’s Master of Design Thesis, kinesthetics has evolved into the research & development unit at JOMA Studios.
Weaving between designerly and curatorial processes, this site offers in depth analysis and documentation of our process.
Kinesthetics then, can be seen as the builders at JOMA Studios, providing scaffolding for ideas for one day to stand on their own.

About Us
We specialize in crafting immersive spatial, sensory and auditory experiences.
Situated in Vancouver, British Columbia we collaborate with clients, galleries, and artists to create experiences that spark connection and inspiration. Incorporating a temporal perspective when designing spaces, every project begins with these two questions: How do we come together and in what sense?
Our current focuses are: Listening Rooms, Radio, Exhibitions, Public Art, and Sculpture

Exploring how spaces, stories, and sensory experiences intersect.
